The Service and Logistics Administrator (SLA) will assist the Service and logistics team leader in organising, processing and progressing customer orders and returns through all aspects of the logistics and repairs processes to meet customers’ needs and company KPIs. Control of stock.

Responsibilities:

The Service Administrator (SLA) is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day administration tasks involved within the Service Department ensuring a cost effective and efficient service to both Internal and External customers.

Service Administrator duties will include: -

  • Provide service dept support to customers and sales.
  • Provide support to the Service and logistics team leader.
  • Help to drive TRT & KPI achievement to ensure On Time Deliveries.
  • Progress sales and work orders awaiting approval.
  • Create RMAs works orders and sales orders.
  • Generate and process quotes for repair and calibration of product.
  • Recognise returned items that could potentially create New Sales.
  • Raise invoices and pro-forma invoices, process payments.
  • Ensuring repair orders are recorded correctly on Epicor
  • Assist Sales to deal with queries on returned product by carrying out necessary investigations as required.
  • Generate calibration certificates.
  • Raise 3rd Party supplier PO
  • Stock control, counting, monitoring, checking and adjusting.
  • Initiate internal escalation procedure for clearance issues.
  • Control, storage and archive departmental documentation in line with Customs requirement.
  • Liaise with repair engineers, shipping and packing teams to ensure timely and effective despatch of Repairs.
  • Provide administration cover for Service line manager in their absence.
  • Calibration of test equipment, plan, organise and liaise.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary to ensure customer expectation is achieved and the smooth running of the dept..
